World Boxing News reports that 34 year-old Quinton Hillocks “campaigned at the super-middleweight limit and enjoyed training sessions alongside top domestic names after turning pro in 2009.”
But after a pro career consisting of five fights — including two losses — Hillocks decided to forge a new path for himself.
Fast forward nine years and Hillocks enjoys fleeting stints as a porn star in the United States.
Working with the likes of Brazzers, Mr. Porn Geek and big names such as Lela Star, Hillocks is known in the network as ‘Donkey’ – a nickname which needs no explanation.
Describing his journey and decision to leave boxing behind, Hillocks is quite content with his choice. But the ex-fighter admits it’s tough to find enough work.
“Yeah, I did OK with it (boxing),” he told the Sunday Mercury. “But it wasn’t really my thing.
“I kept it going because it was paying my living for a few years.
“I went to the States to pursue a comeback in boxing and had my fight rescheduled three times, which is why I started porn to pay the bills.
“Then I saw a sparring partner of mine in a porn film, so asked him to get me in as I needed the money at the time.
“I live in LA now and I’m not really successful at the moment, but it’s been ups and downs. Success is a funny thing to summarize, I guess
“I was just going with the flow once boxing got put on the back-burner. Different opportunities come and go all the time out there.
“All in all, it’s best to be happy in life, regardless. Most likely, I will grow old over there and I would like to retire over there.”
