There is a difference between what Alexa wrote and what “Porn News” wrote here. My problem isn’t calling out the action as not cool, its the demonizing of someones character on an industry news site over a stupid tweet with the level of inflammatory language that we see here in the article.

@justice … it does show lack of judgement but it doesn’t show the type of person she is, and it’s the jumping to that assertion that I have a problem with.

I’ve never heard Lauren speak poorly of anyone, nor insult them, nor be unkind to anyone in any way. She consistently shows up for shoots on time, ready to work with a smile and positive attitude. One of the few stars that brings NO drama(I guess she was due).

In my mind good reporting is not blind editorial. It involves a little research so here perhaps a phone call with the perpetrator and some people they’ve worked with before determining character for an editorial.

And this Author consistently engages in click bate and blows up the facts to be incendiary prompting my comment regarding MikeSouth.com not Mike South. While Mike South would call people on their shit, he did some research and typically tried to be fair. Mike was for the performer while if you only read what Porn News has to say you’d think every single person in the industry was a brainless moron or a complete piece of shit.

@AmDazed, just because you’ve heard much worse doesn’t suddenly make what she did okay. It was insensitive, and inappropriate to say the least. It clearly shows her lack of judgment and the type of person she is. I’m glad people are calling her out on it. She’s a horrible person and people should be made aware of it.

@Justice, this was not posted during the attack, it was posted around 12PM the following day.

Taking the top hashtags and working them into a tweet is pretty standard these days… and as far as capitalizing on a terrorist attack, I suppose the media, politicians, and military industrial complex are the only ones who are aloud to do that; though I don’t think she was trying to capitalize on the attack, just the hashtags with a clever spin on it in the spirit of “make porn not war”.

Regardless, I’ve heard much worse at inappropriate times from our President, and I’m not throwing any temper tantrums. The outrage displayed here over Lauren’s tweet by the Authors on MikeSouth is a fucking joke.

I will stop short of calling Lauren evil but WTF was she thinking? Hashtaging a disaster-specific hashtag and attaching it to something both not having a damn thing to do with the disaster (in this case a terrorist attack and massacre) and to promote some porn website in the process is asinine and uncalled for! For those unaware a hashtag on Twitter causes someone’s post to come up whenever someone searches that phrase all posts with that hashtag come up on the screen, IIRC in chronological order. People searching for information on the Las Vegas massacre and seeing some dumbass advertising a porn site with it instead aren’t going to be logging onto her site but will be highly offended and probably remember her name when looking for porn and not be buying from or subscribing to that site or becoming her fan. I think as a penalty for being a colossal dumbass Lauren needs to apologize, learn from her mistake and grovel at the feet of the porn industry. Twelve of the best on her ass with a Singapore correctional cane and being locked in some Thai hellhole prison for a month or two would be appropriate as well. Give me a fucking break, Lauren — grow a fucking brain!

If you look at the time of the ss it clearly shows this tweet was done during the time of the shooting. And during that horrible event this dumb bitch tweets using the #shooting hashtag to promote herself?

All I can say is there is a special place in hell for people like that. She’s some kind of messed up in the head to think that was okay.

You know who says something like this… “I can’t even put into words how much Lauren Phillips just is the worst kind of person.”… The worst kind of person.

Was it in poor taste, yes, but to judge Lauren’s Character based on one tweet alone, sad. Especially to drudge it up after it had been deleted so you could bash her and get your click bait headline is even more sad.

I’ve met Lauren and she is a good person, fun, and doesn’t take life too seriously. Perhaps that was the problem here for you and quite a few others that were outraged by her post. Overall I’d rather have someone like Lauren in the world than most the people I see on TV on a daily basis.

And I’d rather read her posts than most the click-bait
overstated one sided poorly researched stories you post on MikeSouth.com.
