That is actually true of an OD from most opiates (Percocet/Percodan/OxyContin, Norco/Vicodin/Lorcet, morphine/MS Contin, Demerol, Dilaudid, Opana, methadone, even codeine can theoretically do it). I would think a tox screen would have been performed and this type of situation is always leaked to the media by hospital staff when a celeb is involved (and even my Frank Sinatra/Perry Como/Bing Crosby/Henry Mancini music loving ass knows what Prince looked like) so the combination of his celebrity and likely presenting a musician’s union health insurance card upon admission someone knew who he was.

If he OD on percoset pneumonia is common especially for a singer. Drawing a blank in the moment on the process name but singers lungs aren’t just healthy they actually process more fluids than the average Joe… if breathing is slowed the fluid rapidly builds because it isn’t being exhaled. It has to do with the lungs doing their part to keep vocal cords moist and working.

“Legitimate” media is reporting Prince was in the hospital for pneumonia about a week before his death. That doesn’t mean he didn’t die of an overdose but in this case I think Harvey Levin got it wrong.

As for Chyna, she is a sad case. She was a known alcoholic and pill popper and although that doesn’t mean she died from it I have to say that is a likely possibility. She had been in rehab at least once and it evidently didn’t take if she has a recent video on YouTube where she was obviously high as a kite (I will have to look up that video). May both Prince and Chyna/Joanie rest in peace.

Actually TMZ is reporting that both Chyna and Prince died of drug overdose related issues. Prince was in a hospital for a drug overdose just a couple of days ago. Now TMZ is not the best news source so take it with a grain of salt.
