What the hell is going on here? This is three people either currently in the biz or having just left it very recently, August Ames from suicide precipitated by cruel harassment because she wouldn’t fuck a crossover talent, Olivia Lua likely from alcoholism and according to Kelli in another recent article possibly drug abuse/addiction (the voluminous amount of prescriptions could have been medically necessary so we can’t say for sure about any drug addiction she may have had — I have a big bag of pills prescribed appropriately myself to treat bipolar disorder, congestive heart failure, pain from a severe back injury and a couple of other less severe things — I quit drinking alcohol many years ago or I might have been dead by now, too); we don’t know what Olivia Nova died from. Even during the boom era where every young woman that fucked herself up on drugs seemed to be getting into porn we didn’t have three pass on in little more than one month.

I don’t know if it is fair to add Yurizan Beltran’s name to the list as she hadn’t performed in a while but if you do that is four dead, all age 35 or under in about five weeks!

May August, Yurizan, Olivia and Olivia RIP and may no more porn chickies die this year.

The powers that be aren’t doing anything. Have you been watching the news lately? Porn stars are the butt of every joke and at best a presidential concubine, they don’t even see them as human. Also she was 23, raising entry to 21, this still could have happened.

Wonder how soon it will be before the powers that be decide to get involved in all these porn star deaths? Legislation to raise the age from 18 to 21? Legislation to require a mental health evaluation before a performer can enter the industry? Lots of possibilities…
