It’s sad that something like a snake bite could take down such a young person. I wouldn’t be surprised if Billy also didn’t want to go to the hospital to incur the medical bills that would indeed come with it. Type Snake Bite Hospital Bill in google and you’ll see that some crazy hospitals charge 5 figures for the antidote.

More than anything this shows me that our healthcare system is more for profit then anything else. Sure Billy’s Friend probably would have gotten a ticket, but I believe there is more to this story. I truly believe Billy didn’t go because of the financial ramifications.
