It is with the greatest sadness that I report the passing of Jessica Jaymes, an adult film legend and almost unearthly beauty who had also been a friend for more than 15 years.
Jaymes had been struggling with health issues for some time.
TMZ reports:
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … a friend went to check on Jessica Tuesday afternoon in her San Fernando Valley home because he hadn’t heard from her in a while. When the friend arrived at her home, our sources say the friend found Jessica unconscious.
We’re told fire and EMS got a call for cardiac arrest for a female. When they got there, nothing seemed amiss. They pronounced her dead at the scene. The cause of death is unknown and now the L.A. County Coroner’s Office is investigating.
Jessica had a history of seizures. We’re told authorities found various prescription drugs.
AVN reports that Jessica Jaymes’ business partner (also her ex), Nadir Drums discovered her. He told the trade mag, “She had a lot of health issues, she kept having seizures in the past six months—she was around the medication for the seizures. It looks like she probably had a seizure yesterday or the day before.”
He went to check on her, he said, because “she was MIA … she wasn’t online for like four, five, six days, and I was on vacation and I came back a week ago, and I texted her, she was not answering me back.” Finally, he explained, he asked his assistant to try calling Jaymes, speculating that “maybe she blocked me, because sometimes she blocks me, she gets mad with me, she gets mad with the world—and the phone was not ringing.”
. . .
“You know, when I started to see in the past two or three years all these people dying because of this and that, I was like, ‘When is going to be her time?’ Because I knew it was coming. I knew it was coming. She was so unhealthy, so many problems, health issues with her back, her nerve system, the seizures in the past six months. I was just waiting. It was a question of time. She was so young.”
Many anticonvulsant seizure medications, including benzodiazepines, carry well-known risks, especially if taken in combination with alcohol.
Jessica Jaymes entered the world of X in 2002. In 2005 she was named Huster Video’s first contact star, and in 2009 she helped create Spizoo.com and its affiliate program Spizcash.com, both of which continue to operate today.
She was Hustler’s Honey of the Year in 2004, and the August 2008 Penthouse Pet of the Month.
Jaymes had some mainstream credits, having appeared in the Showtime Network series Weeds in 2006 and 2007.
Jessica was indicted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2018.
Jessica Jaymes’ final Instagram post:
Instagram will load in the frontend.
It’s no secret that Jessica was a bad drinker, and that she struggled with psychological issues. She even did a stint on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab Sober House. In many respects she was her own worst enemy. But she was also a kind, loyal and loving friend, and a hard-working performer.
She turned 40 years old in March.
Sweet dreams, Jessica. I think often of sharing a piano bench with you, and I pray you are at peace.

You will be missed, RIP beautiful 🙁
I created this account just to make a comment. Long time reader, first time poster. I’m shocked at her untimely passing. I didn’t know she had severe health issues. Looked liked a normal healthy person on the outside. She was one of my favorites. Very beautiful and seemed like a sweet/cool person. Not that I want to see anyone pass away in the adult industry, but I would not have believed Jessica Jaymes would be next to go. So sad!!! RIP beautiful! Sucks getting old. Life could be so tough and life is fragile.
The story going around is that she died of natural causes… a massive heart attack.
