He made the offer because that’s what he does. He makes these kinds of offers because it gets his name in the MSM, people remember that porn exists, it stews with them for awhile, and a percentage of them give in and buy some (including his products). He pulled out of this one preemptively because even though he made happen what he wanted to happen, he knew that the disgust of this particular offer would out weigh the attraction created by all of his offers. In other words: overall, he still got what he wanted – he just had to ad an additional level of complexity to achieve it.
