I grew up in the country, and longed for the day I was old enough to get my first bb’e gun (12). I’m also a history buff, and respect the role “the right to bear arms”, has played in our country. I also don’t like the government to control what we can and cant do. With that all said, I am for gun control. I’m all for hunting, ect, ect, but does a private citizen really need to be able to buy a machine gun? I don’t know of a single case where a gun ever saved anyone, but I’ve personal know of three tragic accidents caused by guns; so I question whether guns are protective, and deter crime. In the right hands, with the proper training guns are positive, but most of the people I know who carry guns, and have a loaded gun in their house are idiots; and I seriously question there judgment with a gun.
