You are correct. To get into federal court, the suit either has to involve a constitutional issue, OR total diversity of the parties + amount in controversey is at least $75k. For defamation claims, if it’s a public figure, then the plaintiff has to show that the defendant either knowingly published a false statement or did so with reckless disregard for the truth. For private individuals, it’s a negligence standard.

Honestly, the part about Mike’s post which sounded the diciest to me was the claim that TJ Cummings was running around showing people fake test results, but I imagine he has some sort of backup for that claim.

Also, agreed as to the tone of Marco’s response.

I hope everyone stays healthy and happy. I love this world of adult entertainment and the personalities that inhabit it. In another lifetime, I hope to be more actively involved in that world. I guess for this life, I’m going to have to stick to the suit/tie/skyscraper gig.
