It’s pretty common knowledge that most of the public disgrace scenes use “invited” and “off the street” extras and they are instructed to wash their hands with antibacterial soap if they want to touch, spank, hit, finger or any non-penetrative touching of the performer. THAT’S IT…. nothing more.

If they would like to participate in genital penetration of the performer then they would need a copy of a clean test panel.
(I honestly can’t remember the rules regarding the giving or receiving of oral sex, but I would hope you would need a clean test for that also?)

Although, they have shot many scenes out of the country so I don’t know what the protocols are for other countries.

It’s not like this is some big secret… it’s quite common knowledge if you read the interviews or know people who have actually attended the shoots. Shit, one just came out from a journalist like 2 days ago…

Public disgrace scenes are pretty hard to watch sometimes due to the severe degradation factor, but some people obviously like it so the show goes on….
The BEST thing about public disgrace scenes are watching the “extras.” Every scene you have at least a few people who are just sitting there with this “What the fuck is wrong with these people?” look on their faces… it’s quite funny.

Nothing about showing up with a clean STD test just a waiver to sign that releases Kink from any responsibility if you contract a STD.

I don’t know Diane Duke or any of the industry players in this saga. However, I read a quote from her posted on AdultFYI – “The tests that are utilized in the adult industry are FDA-approved cutting-edge tests,” Duke says in rebuttal.

I think she’s making more of this than is warranted. First, the FDA does not designate anything as cutting-edge, leading-edge or make a value judgment as to whether one test is superior or inferior than another test. That’s for someone else to determine.

The FDA’s job is to validate that a drug is manufactured in a quality-controlled environment, does what the manufacturer claims that it does and is safe for use by humans. It also orders recalls when a drug or product under its purview is defective, contaminated or no longer safe to use.

The FDA does not determine protocols or make behavioral recommendations.

In the case of AIDS testing, its really as simple as: Does the test do what it is intended to do and is it safe for people to use it. That’s all the FDA is authorized to do.

The CDC makes behavioral recommendations and suggests protocols.

TMZ will not touch any of this with a 10 foot pole. That seems pretty strange to me personally considering there is little to no shame in their game.. Crack, Drunk Driving, Sex Scandal.. etc.
Mainstream media is distorting or have not been furnished with facts at all and Sydney Leathers porn parade has turned from a relatively hot scene into some kind of agenda mule. One thing I doubt is that anyone in the public disgrace scene was ‘untested’ , I will say that probably conjecture on your behalf or maybe you know something I don’t know.. But I do know people personally that have participated in PD scenes that have confirmed to me that everyone present was in fact tested, or that’s what she was told and there is no reason not to believe that in my opinion.
There seems to be some need for informational shut down, while simultaniously creating a buzz about only certain aspects of the situation.
