@jilted lol..would bowling and car washes fall user #1 of the 25 reasons to join FSC in united we stand?

FSC was pushing the NATIONWIDE angle through the legislative process and now I’m noticing GLOBAL which makes me seriously chuckle.

Local groups I’ve worked with report more donations and revenue than FSC does. The local Pop-Warner and school music foundation both report over $1 million annually without a single paid employee….though they both pay contract drivers for the buses they own..they also have assets in the millions.

It’s sad when local Pop-warner groups generate more donations and revenue than the GLOBAL FSC reports. Perhaps some FSC car washes wouldn’t be such a bad idea.

Whoops, it is an act, not a bill. I stand by everything else in my post. Yes, I did read it.

If the FSC learned anything, and I doubt they did, is it take REAL money to run a real campaign. The entire amount they raised for Measre B, even with their eleventh hour pleas, couldnt defeat the measure, even with all of their endorsements, which by the way, theyfailed miserably at cashing in on. Preaching to the choir has never won an election. It was hilarious when they hadthat “IndustryONLY” meeting as part of the campaign. And the dupes who attended that meeting actually thought they were accomplishing something. And the pictures form the busride through Hollywood, hysterical to say the least. What makes me think this next campaign is going to be even better? Hey, maybe they can do a car wash, or a bowling event to raise funds, you know, like they do in junior highschool. I’ve seen more effective campaigns by sixth graders running for class treasurer.

Kinda ironic if you ask me…seeing the lengths some stakeholders will go to pass costs onto performers and/or the public.

@Mharris did you even read the ACT language? An ACT is voter initiative, a BILL is sponsored by an elected legislator as in Senate or Assembly
