All this push back against the amendment which actually addresses concerns raised to the legislature by opponents is hysterical. Seems self-regulation is fine until someone asks for proof of compliance with the very measures the industry designed.

Performers are told by the FSC and it’s barkers that PASS protects their medical privacy while screaming from the rooftop that this amendment will violate it? WTF? PASS where any Tom, Dick or Harry can not only see that performer took cash out their pocket to get tested but gets information about those results via go/no check marks are being told that proof the producer paid for the test and date without the check marks to DIR will violate their medical privacy?

The only thing that is gonna violate is producer pockets that think and say performers and the public ought to pay for their business expenses. This goes to the heart of my comment that Truvada sounds great but whose gonna pay for it?

You can bet that the FSC and it’s barkers will be loud and proud about the CDC Truvada approval at hearing Wednesday to try and mitigate not only the amendment but the entire bill.

Truvada as a PPE (personal protective equipment) is a business expense and unless FSC starts talking about its gonna get paid for you can bet they expect performers or the public to pick up the tab as a personal choice to perform in porn. You can bet these very stakeholders would be loud and proud against picking up the tab for Chase Bank healthcare or ergonomic chairs!

my bad that was ambiguous the robo call campaign was done last year to put pressure on Gatto….one would expect he may still feel a sting from that depending on what kind of response it generated.
