Laws don’t make it through parliament that quick EVER. Like the social distancing fines in public aren’t law. Scotland made them law in an emergency session of parliament while the pandemic is in effect but England hasn’t. If they arrest you it is unlawful, you will win your court case and the fine will be thrown out. Fines for breaking social distancing are already being thrown out

Just because they don’t have the power to enter your home and check doesn’t mean the law doesn’t exist. It is a real law that went into effect on June 1st.
