I don’t know about a porn DVD being useless after one week. I have some that are 15 years old and most of them still play just fine. The VHS tapes tend to go to hell after a decade or two, though.

Honestly, I don’t know if Philly residents and businesses have more wealth than NYC, LA, Miami/Dade County or Vegas/Clark County (I included the surrounding county for the last two because they are commonly considered to be one “city” and economic area). Philadelphia just isn’t on my radar. However, lots of cities are “richer” than Miami — including Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding Kent County (commonly considered to be one large “city” by Michigan residents). Having several families with every last adult member, it helps that Dick DeVos, Sr. (who I have met personally) and the late Jay VanAndel (who will probably come back to haunt me for mentioning him on an adult film industry blog — he was a strict Calvinist Christian) each had a mess of kids who stayed in the county and most of their kids’ adult children have remained as well being billionaires or damn close to it living in a city tends to do that to a city — in the US probably a claim to fame factually correct only about NYC, San Francisco/Marin/San Jose (not on your list) and Grand Rapids/Kent County. If you are talking about land mass, LA would be the biggest by far. If you are using population, NYC would be first, LA would be second, Philadelphia would be third, Miami/Dade and Vegas/Clark can fight for scraps over fourth and fifth.
