Publicist Career-killer Erika Icon of The Rub PR has truly outdone herself. This past week she somehow managed to cobble together not only the Worst Porn PR of the Week, but one that is more amateurish than her previous two winners! That is some feat!
Erika’s victim is once again her client, Lance Hart. Here’s the opening of this week’s masterpiece press release.

And it gets worse. Icon has corrected none of the typos, grammatical errors and repeated phrases that we pointed out last week. It’s almost as if she doesn’t care about the quality of her work.

How could she possibly miss these errors?

WTF!!!!! I know Sam has posted that she isn’t usually drunk or high but the poor grammar Erika has used in her recent press releases usually signifies either someone that has a poor command of the English language (usually a foreigner), just doesn’t give a fuck, only has a third grade education or is drunk/high off of her ass. She didn’t start out writing so poorly so lack of English writing skills is off of the table. I think that rules out only having a third grade education as well. That leaves the possibilities that she just doesn’t give a rat’s ass about her work/career or that she has one hell of a drinking or drug addiction and can’t leave her drink/drugs alone long enough to write a coherent PR release. Erika needs to join Kelly Holland, they would be perfect for each other as they both write or behave like morons on a regular basis. Erika can teach Kelly how to write like a third grader whereas Kelly can teach Erika how to sexually harass men and how to buy black market Viagra to gift to them. They can also shoot up their drug of choice together.
What a money waste paying Erika $500 a month to re-blog nonsense which clutters up web sites with poorly written duplicate chatter .
Re-blogged content are issued Google penalties leaving you better off promoting yourself on twitter and Instagram .

As far as I am concerned Erika can eat all she wants at a buffet. I know I have put a large dent in multiple buffets myself. My problem is the poor quality of her work. This is three weeks in a row that severely subpar work has come out of her office and probably from her directly. I don’t think she spends enough time at the buffet table to cause her to produce so much poor work. Kelli and Brian would be excellent alternatives for Erika’s victims including at least Sarah Vandella and Lance Hart. So would Adella if she is still in the business (Adella used to work for Digital Playground before MindGeek bought it, I don’t know if she still does adult film industry PR or not). Even James Bartholet is better at writing press releases, at least the press releases I have seen that he wrote were cogently written and there were minimal grammar and spelling errors in them (unlike Erika Icon’s attempts at press releases as of late) and he likes to party (sometimes with his clients), I know he drinks heavily and I have read rumors of Peruvian nose powder (cocaine) use but even with that issue his press releases and other PR services (from what I have seen) are professionally written/performed. If Erika really charges $500 per month for her atrocious PR writing services it is way too much — and if she was sober while writing them the quality of her writing leaves me dumbfounded!
James Bartholet isn’t so bad really. So he dabbles with coke and is generous with handing it out. He is Superior to the Buffet Killer class D- dunce

James does descent PR Sarah Vandella should scout better PR alternatives. She will as they all will eventually.
Don’t pay Erika and just hang up on her when she calls, she is an imposer fake PR cheat and a general flunky. Hopefully her clients are not gonna get kicked around because they now inherited Ericka’s haters .
