Google Chrome has a nifty new feature, one that notifies you if your password for a specific site has been compromised so that you can change it now.
It turns out passwords for those from the site AVN Stars have recently been compromised according to Google Chrome’s security notification feature.
If you have an AVN Stars account you need to log in and change your password immediately – just in case.
We spoke to reps from AVN and they assured us they are not aware of any database security issue. However, Google is reporting that passwords have been compromised so just in case, change your password just to be safe.
We had a nice conversation with some reps from AVN and they assured us that they take security on their platform quite seriously and monitor these situations closely.
