Maybe it’s a silly idea, but might it not be smarter to contact a dutch lawyer’s office, or if you don’t know which one, ask a dutch adult site to do it for you. They might know which lawyer to contact & they’d probably be happy with the publicity. You’ll probably have to pay for the expenses though and even then I don’t know if they’ll agree to do it. Still, I don’t know how badly you want your private information removed, but it might be worth a shot.

Freeones and Askjolene are two dutch sites. I’m sure there are more, but I usually don’t care where the site is hosted & what nationality the owner of the website has.

Yeah, I would love for everyone to speak up all at once. My main concern though is that Ecatel could possibly forward the e-mails to the nice folks at PWL. I have never dealt with Ecatel (nor heard of them) until now, so I have no idea how they do business, and I don’t get the impression they’re the type of company that gives a crap.

I know that some have, the old saying doe that it is the squeaking wheel that gets the grease. One or two people they can ignore, if they got bombarded with 15000 of these they wouldnt ignore it. Whats the flashpoint? I dont know.

they are hosted at ecatel. ecatel is in The Netherlands and they are known for hosting sites that nobody else will. They are very expensive and will host anything.

Why hasn’t their server kicked them off already? I assume they know what the site is. Maybe they’re friends of the people behind PWL.

well godaddy is the domain registrar not the host.

I should have guessed that Go Daddy was the host. They give out accounts to anyone who asks without investigating the person at all. They used to sponsor Danica Patrick in car racing and promoted cheap web site hosting. Unfortunately I think they are based right here in the good old USA (as your addresses suggest), so the Dutch can’t do much about it. Now if Go Daddy (or its host) has a server in either Holland or the Netherlands (both are considered Dutch, pick the one that has this law) you may have a powerful weapon, but you have to find out whether Go Daddy keeps its own servers in the USA or if they are a middleman and there is host for them that would happen to be located in Holland or the Netherlands.
