Men will be barred from using parts of an on-campus gym at the University of Southern California (USC) under a new initiative to make women and non-binary gym-goers feel more comfortable while working out.
The Student Assembly for Gender Empowerment (SAGE) pushed for the new rules in partnership with the Lyon Center, a recreational facility controlled by the university.
SAGE describes itself as a “programming assembly and intersectional feminist organization under the student government, committed to uplifting all voices oppressed by the patriarchy.”
SAGE is, of course, a woke intersectionalist (Maoist) group. I wonder if they issued a directive defining what a woman is?
You may ask, “what’s to stop a man from claiming he is non-binary (something which is, after all, as fictional as the Patriarchy) in order to gain entry?”
Nothing — except that any man who would do that is humiliating himself to please his masters. That is the Maoist element of wokeness; a substitute for a formal “struggle session.”
Notice how this does nothing to help or strengthen women by giving them broader access; inistead, ‘by restricting men’s access, it only hurts men. That is its purpose.
The plan excludes men from working out in portions of the Robinson Room at the Lyon Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m., according to the Daily Trojan student newspaper.
