In a letter to hosting partner of OnlyFans, House Republicans demand that Amazon end its partnership with OnlyFans because of child pornography. Certainly human trafficking and exploitation of a child are at tremendous issues, However it should not be used to exploit an agenda and mitigating this troubling travesty.

Eight House Republicans wrote, calling on Amazon Web Services CEO Adam Selipsky, requesting him to sever the cloud service provider’s business partnership with OnlyFans due to the platforms existence of child pornography.

More than 100 members of Congress signed a letter requesting that the Department of Justice investigate the existence of child sexual abuse material on OF, which adult industry experts say is completely unfounded.

Reps. Lance Gooden, Blake Moore, Anthony Gonzalez, Randy Weber, Mark Green, Markwayne Mullin, John Carter, and Ann Wagner signed the letter, which cited several recent reports of sexually explicit content of minors appearing on the platform, as well as testimony from Homeland Security Investigations agents that  now there are 30-50 and mounting instances of child pornography originating on OnlyFans every day.

The Letter to Amazon sites independent investigations

The site’s history of promoting child exploitation and underage sexual content is well-documented. Underage users were easily able to evade teh platform’s age verification mechanism, according to the letter, and there were multiple instances of minors selling sexually explicit content of the site.

OnlyFans issued a statement to the effect. “Several third-party technologies, including detection software Safer, Microsoft PhotoDNA, which is also used by platforms such as Adobe and Facebook, moderation software Sight Engine, as well as OF own proprietary technology, are used to find and prevent abusive material, according to the spokesperson. OnlyFans also employs human moderation teams to review all content”
