Disgraced former UFC and Bellator welterweight War Machine is getting married despite serving a life sentence in prison for the crimes he committed against his ex-girlfriend Christy Mack. According to a report from TMZ, War Machine married his girlfriend Ashley Farrington at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada on Friday.
As we reported last year, she started sending War Machine love letters in 2017 while he was in jail, and the two eventually became “a couple” and got engaged.
Farrington recently filed for a marriage license in Nevada, and War Machine made the required prison marriage request.
In 2014, War Machine’s then-girlfriend, Christy Mack and a local man named Corey Thomas were brutally attacked by the fighter in her home in Las Vegas. Mack suffered 18 broken bones, a broken nose, missing teeth, a fractured rib and a ruptured liver.
War Machine, born Born Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver, competed as a professional mixed martial artist from 2004 to 2013 and compiled a 14-5 record during his MMA career.
He was captured in California one week after the attack. In 2017, he was convicted of 29 felony counts including sexual assault with a weapon and kidnapping. He was sentenced to life in prison but he’s eligible for parole after 36 years which would make him 71 years old.
War Machine is currently serving a life sentence in prison after getting convicted in 2017 of violent crimes against Mack. For the crimes he committed against his ex-girlfriend, War Machine was found guilty of sexual assault, coercion, battery by strangulation, kidnapping and other charges.
War Machine will not see life outside of Lovelock Correctional Center for a very long time: he is eligible for parole after 36 years, at which time he will be 71 years old.

I wonder about the mental health of some women that would write to and eventually marry convicted violent offenders like War Machine, Richard Ramirez, or Ted Buncy.
Its so incredibly stupid I can’t get my head around it to see the situation logically.
I can’t either, Karma. I hope the other kind of karma meets War Machine very soon if it hasn’t already. I hope about 20 bubbas hold him down, break his ribs and rape him up the ass for what he did to Christy Mack and her boyfriend. War is a fucking rapist, (attempted) torturous killer scumbag and deserves the worst treatment possible while in the Lovelock Correction, Cockmunch, Torture and Ass Fuck Facility.
