Santorum’s “War on Porn”: Nothing But A Carnie Work

Step right up to the political midway and pitch a softball into a milk jug. Win a presidency. American politics is nothing but a carnie work. And if I was a conspiracy type, I would tell you that Santorum and President Obama are working together to perpetrate the ultimate Three Card Monte on Mitt Romney.

I’m neither a republican or a democrat because they’re both the same party to me. In my mind, President Obama investing taxpayer money in a donor’s solar company is no different than Dick Cheney beating the war drum to benefit Halliburton.

I am a filth aficionado. I would eat Thanksgiving dinner out of Kimberly Kane’s asshole if she had the free time over the holidays. My idea of normal sex is sniffing an attractive woman’s armpit (after she gets home from the gym) while receiving a prostate massage. My degenerate lifestyle has afforded me the opportunity to meet and get to know many different types of people in my travels. And I can tell you unequivocally that filth knows no political boundaries. The most taboo dirty talk I ever experienced during sex came out of the mouth of a card carrying conservative republican woman who was an upper level PR flack in George W. Bush’s last presidential campaign.

Somewhere along the way in political history, the ideology of fiscal conservatism and constitutional governing got hijacked by religious nut cases who dance with rattlesnakes and force their children to sleep fully clothed to deter them from masturbating. Religious conservatives became a loyal voting block that republicans depended on to get out the vote. Just like democrats who promise the world to minority groups during an election year. However, in 2012, your average big city tax paying conservative represents a much different demographic than the stereotypical religious conservatives of previous decades.

Porn is more mainstream than ever in 2012. Unfortunately, the revenue model doesn’t reflect this, but millions of people across political lines enjoy having their own personal adult bookstore sitting right on their desk or in their pocket. If you took an anonymous poll of every person in this country who calls themselves a conservative and asked them if they wanted the porn industry shut down, you would receiving a resounding no. Porn wasn’t even an issue on the radar of republicans until Santorum “step and fetched” modern conservatism by painting it in blackface and pimping it out on the morality minstrel circuit for the purpose of pandering for rural religious votes to create a momentum.

We live in a day and age where Target and Safeway have a larger lube section than most sex shops. Whenever a carnie politician needs to stir up the rubes for political gain, porn will always be the goto issue. From trumped up obscenity publicity stunts to running for president. Baseball is not America’s favorite pastime. Jerking off is. And as long as people enjoy jerking off, porn is going nowhere.

  1. This well go way soon when big war happens in middle east. When Israels attack Iran drags USA in third war in middle east. Than subject well shift sky high gas prices blood in sand box again.

  2. Awesome post Steve good to have ya back man. I wholeheartedly agree they are the same party and the “three card Monte” they have perpetrated on us is criminal.

  3. What I find amazing is that he’s so far out of touch that he feels he will gain more votes from the ultra-conservatives than he’ll lose by alienating the rest.

Just a general feeling I’m getting from reading between the lines, I think more and more of the silent majority that fall in-between the religious right and the far left are getting fed up with all the intolerance coming from politicians and a deliberately divisive media. We’ll have to wait to see what kind of backlash may result at the polls.

  4. Thanks Mike. I appreciate your words. Really glad to be back.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Santorum was bought and paid for by Obama. Issues of morality and contraception are distractions to keep the spotlight off of real issues like jobs and gas prices.

  5. I think you’re right on Toby. That’s why Santorum’s whole platform is very suspect to me. Vince McMahon couldn’t have created a better heel.
