Cameron Bay Speaks About Shy Love, ATMLA, The FSC and Her Life.

I spoke last night with Cameron Bay.  I am happy to report that she is doing well, that her viral load is very low and that she is getting the help and the medical treatment that she needs to live a long and normal life.

Cameron was very upbeat and nice and didn’t try to place any blame on anyone or anything, she does want to to correct some recent misinformation about events that happened leading up to and after her diagnosis.

Personally, I am proud of Cameron and I am pleased that she chose me to get the truth out. She has been through a lot and it has noticeably matured her an awful lot.  I wish Cameron a long, happy and prosperous life.

Here’s her story:

“There have been many misinterpretations of how I got into ATMLA and why my thoughts towards testing have changed. In May of 2013 I met with Mark Schechter in his Orange county office. Brad Tyler introduced me to him. In that meeting Mark told me he was the owner of ATMLA. Mark had been the owner of ATMLA since September of 2012. [I verified this via Shy Love]

In that meeting I introduced myself as Cameron Adams and at that point he began researching that name he then stated that the name was already being used by a gay porn star, then I suggested Cameron Lane and he researched it and it was also used by another gay porn star. I met Mark a week later in his LA office and he said he was changing my name to Cameron Bay. At that time he had introduced me to Shy Love and said she used to run this office but “I now I own the agency.”

After that I met Shy one more time because she put together a charity-bowling event for everyone in the industry. I had not spoken to Shy at any point after that last meeting until I was diagnosed HIV positive. No booking that I did was ever in any way associated with Shy Love.

In August 2013 I found out I was HIV positive. I was dealing with Mark at this time regarding the entire situation and was very overwhelmed. He had advised me to put out a press release divulging my status. He told me to put out the press release because there were other releases in the works regarding my status coming out although I just had found out a few hours before. I decided to listen to him. A few weeks later I get a call from Mark that AHF wanted to help me out and give me medical attention. He then introduced me to Mark McGrath of AHF via email.

At this point I was still 100% wanting to protect the business. I had contacted Mark to see if I could attend the AVN show. He said he would get me tickets to attend AVN at first. Then he contacted me again and said that the FSC did not believe it was the right choice for me to attend because the industry was not ready for it.

He then set up meetings with Diane Duke and I at the begging of 2014. She was supposed to meet me in Arizona and do lunch and she stood me up, (no calls or emails). I then flew to Los Angeles and she was supposed to meet me, and again she no showed, no call and no emails.

I spoke to Mark and he could not believe that she stood me up again. At this point I was so frustrated because I wanted to attempt to help the business and got no help in return so I turned to AHF ( Mark introduced me to them ) they had been there for me the entire time. I feel that the industry turned its back on me and I was distraught over the circumstances and felt if they did this to me they will do it to anyone. I then found out that Mark is telling individuals that I was one of Shy’s messes that he had to clean up.

I do not consider what happen to me a mess that need to be cleaned up. This is my health and my life it is not a mess. I was not brought into ATMLA by Shy Love  Mark signed me to ATMLA.

Several times in the last few months it has come to my attention that various people had advised Mark from ATMLA not to book with KINK.com. He was told that they are abusive and the sets are not safe for talent.

Even though he knew this he never advised me of the circumstances, surrounding the shoot.  I really wasn’t prepared for what happened to me on that set.

I believe an agent should look out for the talents best interest not his own. He should have made it very clear what the shoot entailed I feel that he was more concerned with his bottom line than safety of his own talent.

I am in no way attempting to harm the industry or anyone in it. I just want to inform everyone what really happened.

Cameron Adams AKA Cameron Bay”

This shows why the FSC needs to be done with once and for all.
They do not care about the talent and either do a lot of other people
in the industry. We are all glad to see that Cameron Bay is making a lot of money and helping the FSC with their agenda to get the industry
out of California and to Vegas where the HIV+ jizz can fly around and
further expose more victims of the porn industry up the in Vegas.

There will be more exposures and HIV outbreaks. Mark my words.

  2. Jamie Profit

This is a very good article Mr. South. Better than that other story
that dicksucker, Michael Whiteacre, over at TRPWL that is a piece of
shit shit did on Cameron. How about getting facts from Shy Love about what really went down and why the piece of crap CEO Dianne Duke didn’t take care of business with Cameron like she said she was going to do and be there for lunch and helping her out. A lot of the AB1576
crap probably would not have happened if the FSC would have done
their part too. No wonder all the bitches are running for Vegas.
And who was the one really that directed Cameron towards AHF for help? Rob Black was blowing his kazoo awhile back here saying he was the one…Sure Rob, like you really do care. But other than that very good article Mike and better than that idiot, Whiteacre(DEEP THROAT COCK) over at TRPWL. They suck anyways(Asskissers)
Have a great weekend and looking forward to those other stories.

    Shalom!

Performers are going to get HIV no matter where they are, and regardless of what measures are put into place. We could have performers testing 3 times per month and using condoms, and still, once every few years one of them is going to fuck someone outside of the business, participate in risky sexual activity, use IV drugs etc, and get it. STDs are an occupational hazard of this business, just as having a wooden beam dropped on your head is an occupational hazard of being a construction worker. It would be foolish to believe that theres something we can do to never have another case of HIV. Mind you, that the last outbreaks were all related to crossover/gay performers, having sex outside of the business. As I’ve said before, the business needs to also hold the performers accountable. Everyone wants to talk about condoms and testing and FSC and AHF…at the end of the day…performers also need to take responsibility. People in this business seem to never want to talk about this. Everyone has this “these poor young girls” attitude. They’re adults….they’re choosing to do a very adult activity. I feel bad for Cameron Bay, but you know what? Would more testing and condoms on set have prevented Cameron from getting HIV? No….because I would bet she chose not to use one when she fucked her cross-over boyfriend in private. She participated in risky behavior in her private life, and got burned. Its a terrible thing…but to shift 100% of the blame onto the industry is irresponsible, and lets performers off the hook when they shouldnt be

  4. Cindi Spiegler

I more respectful article than that worthless piece of shit, Ari Bass wrote. He uses the opportunity to degrade the whore further. This is what happens when you’re a bitter scumbag who barely missed dwarf status.

  5. Danny Davis

Mike better try and get a hold of Shy Love and get her story.
Whiteacre and Tompkins the PWL poster and adult industry stalker
are trying to pressure her into giving them a true story about everything and even pressuring her about everything about the
outbreaks and that she never tells the truth. LOL..like
Whiteacre and Tompkins are supposed to be the saints of the
porn media . Sean can barely write and spell and Whiteacre
is a total ass on the way to Prison and was seen today donning a
orange vest and a Nevada highways white helmet picking up trash
along the highway in Vegas. Good career choice Whiteacre, something
a felon can only do. Two cunt assholes white trash for sure!

  6. Nick East

I caught something,,, went to tell the director I couldn’t work… Director (two of them) told me to work anyway!!! They both said the same thing… “It’s the risk SHE takes”!!! But you go ahead and try to tell everyone that there has been ‘NO ON SET TRANSMISSION’ till you’re blue in the face, but WE’RE NOT LISTENING TO THAT NONSENSE!!! Do you get it? No!!!! You DO NOT GET IT!!! NO company in AMERICA has the right to expose their EMPLOYEES (yes, talent are employees, otherwise they’d do what THEY WANTED on set and someone else would simply film it) to unnecessary DISEASE!!! Construction workers wear hard hats!!! WTF???? You sound just like Diane “get the government out of our bedrooms” Duke!!! Seriously, how stupid do you think we all are? Please answer that one before you spout your industry line bullshit anymore, k? And Cameron is a hero to turn to the AHF and eschew (look it up) the industry!!! Cameron? YOU ROCK!!!

  7. GoldStein Army

Yeah Cameron you rock girl and Sophia too!
I really am looking forward to seeing the August 4th
hearing broadcast with a bunch of “c” level unknowns
going up there and telling the Legislators that they get pussy
chaffing when they have to use condoms. And guys complaining they
can’t wear condoms because they get them on. Bullwinkie!
Sounds like some shit Whiteacre and or Tompkins would write up for
them to speak about. Whiteacre’s problems is he’s got a small JEW cock. LOL..anyways Nick East do you need Sean Tompkins Driver’s Licenses and Social Security number for what you were having problems with the other day? Just lets us know !
We got all that info on both.
    Have a great weekend !
    Shalom

  8. Nick East

Did ya know that Michael “Ari Bass” Whiteacre once called my boss trying to get me fired? !!! Last I heard, Sean is gonna write up a slanderous article about me and some ficticious sister? Hmmm, did I spell that right? Oh, well, not gonna spell check tonite… It can be easily proven that there has been a systematic harrassment of people who speak out against the adult film industry in any way, shape, or form by both Thomkins and Bass. Bass dated Cachapero (sp?) and was ‘hired’??? by her boss to….???? Either way, the time will come where that information will be greatly appreciated!!!!!! Thank you, G.A.!!!!!

  9. LurkingReader

kudos to Cameron Bay for standing and taking a part in the legislative process. Regardless of which side you’re on it’s not easy to go play in a new sandbox.

Each time she gets out there her participation has shown growth and appreciation for the process she is involved in with her direct and on point responses.

if you haven’t heard it, it was a classic and worth hunting the Audio down for the last 20 minutes or so of the Assembly Appropriations Committee. She grabbed Donnelly’s pass to the FSC and ran it in for a touchdown while the FSC (barkers) barely grabbed downs on the redo kiddie league passes to them after that to try and mitigate her performance.

  10. CPanzram

“Then he contacted me again and said that the FSC did not believe it was the right choice for me to attend because the industry was not ready for it.”

That’s a big old bucket of “fucked up” if I ever read one before.

“Yes honey, we are sorry, but please stay behind the curtain”.

  11. JOJO

Then if you don’t stay behind the curtain, we will have
Whiteacre and Tompkins the Industries two retards stalk
and harass you and you gay boyfriend for talking to AHF and
Isadore Hall and bad mouthing the industry.
Fuck YOU Sean Tompkins and Micheal Whiteracre !!

  12. Mr.Anonymouse

Not sure what directors you’re referring to, but I don’t know a single director who would want to take on the liability of telling someone with a bad test to work. I would think you were working for some lower level director. Cameron Bay didn’t get HIV on set. Did any of her scene partners around that time test positive? Nope. She got HIV by having sex with Rod Daily, a cross over performer/gay escort and possible IV drug user. The other HIV case? TJ Cummings….again…known gay escort and known to participate in risky sexual activity off screen. None of TJs professional partners came up positive for it….so where do you suppose he got it? Tell me one of those cases that was on set, and if it was…how come none of their scene partners tested positive? You’re entitled to your own opinion, not your own facts.

I never said anything in support, or against AHF so I don’t know why you’d insinuate that. In fact, I would say that if I was a performer and got HIV, AHF would be my first call for help. They have done what Dianne Duke and FSC are unwilling, or are incapable of doing, which is help performers who have tested positive for HIV.

So is your position that Cameron has no personal responsibility for what she does outside of the industry? Is it not her fault for choosing to date and have unprotected sex with a gay escort? Again…why is it never ok to ask performers to take responsibility for what they expose themselves to? And yes, construction workers wear hard hats, and adult performers get tested 2 times a month. We can’t completely eliminate the risk of STD infections. Its not possible. Our job is to mitigate the chances the best we can, while still producing a product that is desirable and profitable.

  13. Mr.Anonymouse

Also I should mention here that, I am in no way saying the industry doesn’t have problems when it comes to dealing with these issues. I think its pretty appalling that, if a performer contracts HIV, they are sort of left out in the cold by the industry. AHF is picking up the slack in that regard, and we should be doing better. So before you spout off about me being “pro industry” or “defending the industry”…thats not it at all. Facts are facts, whats right is right. Cameron has some personal responsibility here, as does the gay escort boyfriend that she got it from (and shame on him for exposing her to that). Cameron did not get HIV, because of lack of industry protection, and in fact it can be argued that she is lucky that she is in the industry, and therefor caught it right away on her next test. The industry needs to do better in dealing with performers who do get sick…and performers need to take more personal responsibility, and not be treated like complete victims

  14. Nick East

A product that is desirable and profitable? By that do you mean condom free? And as far as risky behavior? Do you not realize that the industry ITSELF is the riskiest behavior to which a person can subject themselves? My position is that the producer/directors are SOON to be held responsible for their EMPLOYEES health and well-being LIKE EVERY OTHER EMPLOYER IN AMERICA. When that happens you will see condoms on every set in America!!!! And our great land’s forgotten CHILDREN will finally have just a little protection from their unscrupulous employers! THAT is my position. And Cameron Bay ROCKS for coming forward!!! Who is to say that her ‘scene partner’ didn’t just go away and NOT COME FORWARD? Who are YOU to say that she didn’t catch it on set? How would we know if that was the case or not if the scene partner that gave her HIV simply DIDN’T COME FORWARD? Just asking… But let me say it again, okay? If the scene partner who gave her HIV didn’t come forward, how would we EVER know for sure if she caught it on set or not?

  15. Mr.Anonymouse

We know her scene partners did not have HIV because, if memory serves me correctly, she only did like 1 scene between the time of her last good test, and her HIV positive test ..the infamous Kink scene…which all participants in that scene have since tested negative. By product that is desirable and profitable, in general, yes that does mean no condom. In general, consumers desire to see a man and woman having sex without a condom. I don’t think that can be disputed. Certainly consumers aren’t saying “please produce more condom content, that really turns me on!” When you go to a tube site, and you can select different types of scenes (for example big asses, or anal, or big boobs or whatever), there is no “condom” option for people who get off on seeing condoms. To say that when that law is passed that you’ll “see condoms on every set in america” is a bit naive. Measure B was passed, and the only people who started using condoms were producers of Live Shows because they were a sitting duck as they advertise when their shoots are going to happen, and the locations of their studios are well known and don’t change. Everyone else is still shooting without condoms. Even if a state-wide law is passed, a ton of money and time is going to need to be put into enforcing that law. A ton of money that the state/city of LA doesn’t really have. Even if they did, it would be a a big game of cat and mouse to figure out where producers are shooting, and actually be able to catch them shooting without a condom. Producers will continue to shoot without a condom, or they will move outside of vegas, as many (including Kink, Naughty America, Porn Pros, Brazzers, etc) have already done.

Oh God….”our great land’s forgotten children”? You’re proving my point. These are not children, they are grown adults. Stop with the “these poor girls” attitude. They chose to get into this business…it is a serious business with serious risks. This is part of the problem. When you treat performers like they’re children, or victims for even being in the business, then you tell them “Its ok to not take responsibility for yourself. The industry will baby you, and if you do something risky in your personal life, it won’t be your fault” You also don’t empower them to take responsibility, stand up for themselves, etc. If performers want condoms, they shouldn’t act like victims, they should stand up strong and refuse to shoot without them. You take away their power by treating them like their poor little children

First rule of spouting bullshit? Spout sooooo much at one time as to make your opponent unable to reply to every bit of bs you’re spouting but i’m gonna give it a try so here goes, mouse.
    1. Explain the success of Wicked when you refer to condoms being bad for business, please.
    2. You can’t prove that Cameron didn’t catch HIV BEFORE her last negative test, right?
    3. A condom section in tube sites? Really? You’re going there? Trust me, you’ll find MUCH hotter women DEMANDING condoms AND NOBODY IS COMPLAINING!
    4. We’ll see condoms soon enough. The evidence of the crime (yup) is in the freaking footage!!! Duh!
    5. It won’t take much time OR money to watch a freaking video and prove that OSHA rules were violated, right? Where is the expense in that? Really?
    6. The Producers FUCKING VIDEOTAPE THEIR REFUSAL TO USE CONDOMS! No need to ‘catch them in the act’.
    7. Shoot in Vegas? Good luck with that!!!! I am now actually laughing out loud.
    8. Talent ARE children!!! If they were adults, they would be able to legally consume alcohol!!! And when I say FORGOTTEN, I mean that they haven’t had anyone in their lives to steer them clear of the fucking porn industry and prostitution in general! consenting adults, my ass!!!! THEY AREN’T EVEN OLD ENOUGH TO DRINK!!!
    9. They didn’t CHOOSE to get into the adult film industry!!! They had NO CHOICE because of their circumstances and the people who influence their lives!!!
    10. I give up!!! You make tooo many stupid points in one post for ANYONE to cover every one of the bullshit lies you are trying to propagate! Please do me a favor and point out just ONE lie per comment so I can properly address each and every one instead of slathering this website with lie after lie after lie, okay?
    11. I (and many other people) feel sorry for these lost souls who are willing to do unspeakable things for a few dollars when BumFights were struck down as illegal a few years ago. But I expect a barrage of FSC party line bullshit to follow with lie after lie after lie designed to wear me down and keep me from being able to explain WHY what you are saying is bullshit!!! Fuck!!!

  17. Mr.Anonymouse

    1. Explain the success of Wicked when you refer to condoms being bad for business, please. — Wicked is an exception to the rule..not the rule.

    2. You can’t prove that Cameron didn’t catch HIV BEFORE her last negative test, right? –The test that is used by the adult industry is capable of detecting HIV after something like 10 days after exposure. She would have had to test within days of getting the virus in order to come up negative on her test before Kink. Unlikely.

    3. A condom section in tube sites? Really? You’re going there? Trust me, you’ll find MUCH hotter women DEMANDING condoms AND NOBODY IS COMPLAINING! — Producers say there is a noticeable drop in sales of content when they attempt to use content.

    4. We’ll see condoms soon enough. The evidence of the crime (yup) is in the freaking footage!!! Duh! – It would be difficult to retroactively prosecute people who arent using condoms and it would have to be proven that the content was shot in CA. If you really think about what is involved in that, its an administrative nightmare that will take a ton of time and money that the state/county doesnt have. Where are all the retroactive measure B charges? There are none. Why? Because it would be a nightmare for the city of LA to actually put people on the task of watching all of this content, and conducting full scale investigations to try and prove that it was shot in LA and actually prosecute the producers

    5. It won’t take much time OR money to watch a freaking video and prove that OSHA rules were violated, right? Where is the expense in that? Really? See above. This takes more time, man power, administration etc than you are thinking.

    6. The Producers FUCKING VIDEOTAPE THEIR REFUSAL TO USE CONDOMS! No need to ‘catch them in the act’. I don’t know of any producer who are videotaping themselves refusing to use them, but again perhaps you know something i dont

    7. Shoot in Vegas? Good luck with that!!!! I am now actually laughing out loud. Naughty America, Porn Pros, Brazzers, and now Kink (along with a handful of smaller producers) have been shooting in Vegas without issue for about a year. There are at least 2 major talent agencies licensed and operating in Vegas already.

— Legally, they are adults. So wrong again. We’re talking about the law here..not your opinion. They are legal adults. Everyone has a choice in life. No one is forced into doing anything for money. Again, you seem to not be a very big fan of personal responsibility.

    9. They didn’t CHOOSE to get into the adult film industry!!! They had NO CHOICE because of their circumstances and the people who influence their lives!!! – Again…here we go…you obviously are not a big fan of personal responsibility…you’re another person in the world with a victim mentality. Sad

Fuck!!! –Theres a big difference between unsanctioned boxing/fighting events and production of adult film. Bumfights, was an illegal boxing/fighting event. Production of adult films is absolutely legal in CA and has been upheld previously. CA is one of the only two places in the country where adult filming is technically legal (though its done in many other states without issue, as I’d imagine its not an enforcement priority in most places)
