Rob and Lizard plead guilty today to obscenity, something he said he would never do.
It’s been along time since he was indicted, and I don’t blame him for throwing in the towel. With Max now in Federal prison for far less offensive content striking a deal was likely in Black’s best interest. The judge showed considerable leniency in the case but presenting it to a jury would have been problematic. The prosecutor, Mary Beth Buchanon, got what she wanted – a win, and Black likely got a very weak sentence that will be announced on Monday, It would surprise me if he does more than a token few months tops. he willlikely be out before Max even gets settled in, if he goes at all.
Any fines levied against Black will likely be paid by his daddy and that will be that, and hopefully we will have heard and seen the last of the little scumbag.

Rob Black forgot one of the cardinal rules: Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. It’s a dangerous thing to dare the Feds to come and get you at a time when you’re pushing the envelope and they’re promising more prosecutions to their base. Or a stupid thing, depending on your point of view. In any event, he got what he wished for. With Max doing time and Rob facing fines and time, producers and distributors might clean up their acts.
