Brandi Bae says the Skyla Novea story isn’t true. On twitter Brandi Bae said she didn’t steal the gun from a security guard, it was her own gun, one she claims it’s a legally registered gun.
She also claims she was not arrested. However, as others have pointed out, although she claims she wasn’t detained by the police — she only responded on social media some 30 hours after the initial altercation. Where was she all that time?
While I can’t say for sure if she was arrested, I will say she was suspiciously missing from Twitter for quite some time.
The original event took place on September 7th at around 4:50 am. Skyla Novea tweeted, but Brandi Bae wasn’t seen on Twitter during this time or full another 30+ hours.
Brandi Bae retweeted what others have tweeted, however when you do that it shows the time that the original tweet went out, not when it was retweeted.
She herself didn’t make an actual tweet until September 8th at around 10:32 am. That means any tweet she made where she admitted she made a threat to Skyla Novea, saying she wanted her stuff back and that had a gun.
She said the only way I’m getting it back is if I get jumped…so I told her that’s not smart because I have a gun for PROTECTION. It’s legal registered gun!
She then goes on to claim she never threatened Skyla Novea, yet clearly, as you see by her own admission, she did make that threat Skyla with her gun. I mean what’s the point of telling someone you have a gun if it’s not a threat to use it?
Brandi Bae also wants to go on record as saying it’s ridiculous that she got into a fight with Skyla Novea because she was jealous of how pretty she was. It was Skyla Novea who is jealous because she can apparently shake her ass better.

Does anyone know how Brandi even got out of jail? California bail for attempted murder is (IIRC) $500K (bails are standardized across the state and the bail manual is published and available) and almost no bondsman will touch it without a $750K house to secure it. As for having her gun legally, she might own it legally but it is extremely difficult to get a carry permit in LA County, theoretically she could fly in to LA for work and live in Placer, El Dorado or Alpine County where the sheriff passes out carry permits like dinner mints (the permits are valid statewide) but that is unlikely. Out of state carry permits are not valid in California unless the permit holder is a current or retired police officer and has the federal carry permit available to them.
Meanwhile every gangbanger on a street corner in LA has a glock in his waistband and another piece in an ankle holster and none of them Had to jump thru hoops to get a gun.

Karma, Brandi is the person who said her gun was legal. Therefore, the question had to be asked. I bet 99% of those Crip, Blood and Latin King guns are stolen or otherwise owned illegally. Also, 99% of gangbangers don’t have California concealed firearm permits. I expect that Brandi will do significant time in jail or prison very soon, my gut tells me there is a lot more to this incident. Please cover the preliminary and the trial — this is a salacious subject and will be very interesting to read.
It’s not legal to have a concealed weapon in California. She probably doesn’t have a permit either. She’s gone through tons of agents and publicists. She should just leave the industry and yea jail too.
Jeffrey, California does have a CCW process but you have to prove need — such as a dangerous stalker or carrying large amounts of money for business reasons. However, some rural California county Sheriffs are interpreting this as everyone that applies and passes the background check has need and issues the permits pretty freely. It is virtually impossible to get one in Los Angeles, Orange or Ventura counties, though (where someone in the LA porn scene likely lives).
