Award-winning superstar Joanna Angel and BurningAngel Entertainment have been selected for 28 nominations at the 2019 XBIZ Awards for excellence in adult.
BurningAngel’s Joanna Angel Gangbang: As Above, So Below received four nominations, including All-Sex Release of the Year, Performer Showcase of the Year, Best Sex Scene – All-Sex Release. Dirty Grandpa is also up for four nods (including Comedy Release of the Year and Best Actress – Comedy Release for Angel) and Metal Massage received one.
In addition to her BurningAngel titles, Angel was also nominated for her acting and directing work with Pure Taboo for its dark drama A Trailer Park Taboo, which earned 10 nominations, including Feature Movie of the Year, Best Music, Best Editing, Best Actress – Feature Movie for Kenzie Reeves, Best Actor – Feature Movie for Small Hands, Best Supporting Actor for Tommy Pistol, Best Music, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Screenplay of the Year and Best Supporting Actress for Angel, who also directed the feature.
Angel’s Penthouse title Corrupted by an Angel also brought in three nominations: Couples-Themed Release of the Year, Best Actress – Couples-Themed Release of the Year for Angel, and Best Supporting Actress (also for Angel), while Sweetheart Video’s Talk Derby to Me also earned the star Best Supporting Actress nod, as well as Best Sex Scene – All-Girl (with Stoya).
Other accolades for Angel include Director of the Year – Feature, Crossover Star of the Year, Studio Site of the Year for BurningAngel.com, Performer Site of the Year for JoannaAngel.com, and Male Performer of the Year for Small Hands.

XBIZ winners will be announced at the 17th Annual XBIZ Awards Show, set to take place Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
