YouPorn, the porn site you visit when Pornhub is performing site maintenance, is this week launching a content suggestion engine called ‘For You Weekly’ that might just keep you on the site longer, or at least visiting more often with some regularity.
Like many machine-learning based suggestion engines before it, the feature will offer a weekly, personalized playlist based on the users’ personal video view history. This feature comes on the back of a handful of site updates, including new categories, video tagging and additional filters. The efficiency and overall accuracy of search has been improved, which is important when you’re digging for your daily adult entertainment fix.
“We’re excited to launch ‘For You Weekly’. As a forward-thinking leader within the adult entertainment industry, we wanted to offer our users a collection of personalized video content to choose from every week, to help save time and enhance their experience overall,” said Charlie Hughes, Vice President of YouPorn. “We’re also thrilled to offer our users a glimpse into what their favorite influencers are recommending through the guest playlists.”
The new site updates undertook a massive rethink of its categories and tags, Hughes added.
