Some of you may have been wondering why in the world we picked a movie made years ago for this month’s movie of the month. We had a good reason and that reason is, still all these years later, it’s one heck of a movie.
Based on the true story of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, Bluebird Films created a historical pornographic epic called Bonny and Clide. It would end up being one of the most expensive adult movies ever made.
Today most movies won’t spend more than $20,000. But Bonny and Clide cost more than a million dollars to produce. With a cast of more than 50 adult stars, multiple locations, lavish period costumes and Hollywood style special effects, it’s easy to see just why the most cost so much money to make.
