They generally announce the Wed before Thanksgiving at Noon PST.
It used to be a much bigger deal than it is now.
One of the highlights of my blogging career came in 2008 when I looked at the AVAwards site and looked at the URL for the previous years nominations (2008)
I used the same naming conventions to see if the (not yet posted) 2009 nominations were there…and there they were….AVN had not yet released them so I broke the nominations out a full week early, before AVN had announced them.

Needless to say AVN went into a complete tizzy, I got calls from Fish, and dozens of people wanting to know how I got the noms before they were announced…I never told, until now.
Apparently they figured it out though because they never made that mistake again.

Yes! I love the comment section much more now too… There will be a lot of “@name” to respond to certain people, but it’s like that on most blogs. It makes it much easier to see new posts.
With that said, I can’t post a damn thing on the mobile version??? It keeps giving me an error message even with being logged-in… ?
prolly a bug in the mobile part of jetpack im sure itll get fixed quickly
AVN noms: Whoop-dee-fucking-doo. I’ve been saying this since I’ve been in this business: things like sucking dicks, taking it in the ass and so much more are not award-worthy. It’s absurd to think otherwise. (Not that absurdity is uncommon in the jizz biz.)
