I Miss The Days When the Porn Industry Wasn’t a Cesspool

Last week a cross over performer who goes by the name Doc Holliday in gay porn was caught faking his tests.  This prompted a press release from Talent testing Services on how to spot a fake TTS test.

Now if you are like me you think this is big news and I posted it immediately.  I was the only one.  The so called industry news sites didn’t even bother to run the press release, much less the story about Doc Holliday faking his tests.  You’d think it never happened.

I contacted Theo at AVN and he said if AVN didn’t run the press release then it was clearly a mistake. well maybe so but that was three days ago and they still haven’t run it…and you might notice as I did that there wasn’t a word about running a story about anyone faking tests.

And Helmy at XBiz  he had nothing to say.

Wouldn’t you think that if people are faking tests that performers might actually want to know about that?   why would AVN and XBiz hide it?  Why would they not even run a press release that instructs directors, performers and others how to spot a real test from a fake…is that really less important than Amazing Asses 17?

Well Xbiz finally did get around to running the press release but did they name the performer caught faking his tests?  Nope.

And if you ask them they pretend they are taking the high road and tell people they dont run “gossip”…blah bla..  as if somehow I do.

Then they both wonder how it is that I get named one of porns ten most powerful players by NBC and they dont get so much as a mention.  I will give you guys a hint…Its because you are not news  there is nothing on either XBiz or AVN that is anything more than a paid advertisement.  I would like to think this business deserves better but lately, it doesn’t.

That is why I read this site and not AVN or XBIZ. I get the real news in the adult industry here.

Also, if you happen to see this Doc Holliday idiot, tell him to go suck an HIV infected dick and swallow every last drop! I hope he also gets the clap, herpes and crabs now that his faking/forging VD tests is public and he will likely never do another straight adult industry scene again. Fuck you Doc Holliday!

IMO naming the performer detracts from the larger issue of performer safety and ways to avoid the fraud du jour’. Right now folks are talking about this guy vs ideas that will keep performers and sets less attractive for scammers. IG producers insisting on their directors (who ever is point of accountability for collecting performer info) make & take time to verify tests….Performers providing verifiable tests & insisting all co-performer tests be verified as well.

Too many names & faces have passed in past five years to say syphillis, Hep C or any other incident is an aberration to an otherwise safe protocol. If protocol has no checks and measures how can it be called a protocol?

For PASS advocates…tossing in another layer of deniability amounts to trying to save a snowball in Arizona August noon day sun in the realm of protocol checks & balances.

Is this guy a ‘crossover’ worker, and is he working with an agent. If both answers are yes, then the agent who is booking him to do gay bareback, and straight scenes also needs to be outed and blacklisted.

What is the official LATATA stand on booking for gay bareback, and straight scenes? Does LATATA have the balls to take on this issue?

Mike, you need to look into THIS issue. Do LATATA agents tell their female talent that the guy they just booked her with did gay bareback yesterday?

Any idea of them names he used in straight porn? His gay porn career is documented but what were the aliases he used in straight porn.

Devil’s Films hired a well known bareback performer named Derrick Anthony to do a condomless straight scene. When asked about it he bragged that he was negative and had a boyfriend for 3 years that was HIV positive.

Well, it’s always been a cesspool but it’s more of one now. Advertisers and owners have always had a big say on the news that’s reported and on editorial content.

There are quite a few male performers that need to go. Anyone that can’t get it up (like Shane Diesel) need to be retired. Mr Marcus also needs to be gone (for being an idiot).

This scenario is the exact rationale behind me shouting from rooftops for an across the board standard testing protocol. This would still accommodate suppressed viral loads where appropriate and do more towards effective sero-sorting where only HIV- is acceptable.

Until the industry demands all productions and performers (regardless of status) test & demonstrate minimal risk the barn door remains wide open.

USUALLY, when ever you are tested for HIV you sign a “Consent to test for HIV” form. Usually that forms contains the question, “Have you ever tested postive for HIV, or ever been diagnosed with HIV?”

Presenting a document that says you are HIV negative, when you have been diagnosed with HIV, is a felony. Your prior knowledge of an HIV infection is key here. Gettin a negative result because the meds have lowered your viral load is not a negative test,,,,it is a false negative,,,,just like if you test too soon after exposure. Presenting a known false negative, as a legint negative, is against the law.

Looking at workplace risk mitigation in the light of the nearly inexhaustible ancillary regulations that come into play…the biggie is Labor HIV anti-discrimination laws in a way that effectively preserves rights and minimized HIV risks on the flip side.

IMO across the board standard requiring negative HIV tests currently utilized by the industry creates such a standard. Using APTIMA HIV 1 across the board ensures the potentially HIV+ performers crossovers work with present the lowest possible risk with effective viral suppression. A protocol of mandatory 14 day tests for crossover talent limits generational exposure risks. Using this minimum standard protocol allows company’s to implement a stricter standard with added ELISA (antibody) testing w/o violating HIV anti-discrimination laws citing potential risks to HIV+ employee/IC however they are classified.

This standard actually preserves the HIPPA & ‘prior knowledge’ issues. Workplaces using minimum standard of undetectable PCR/RNA viral particles pose no risk for patient prior knowledge as Sero-status becomes a non-issue while closing the currently wide open barn door to those with treatment failure and treatment non-compliance where risk is exponentially increased. Using HIV testing as part of panel further preserves performer privacy rights because they have no obligation to disclose which STD was detected at unacceptable risk levels.

Testing straight performers including crossovers and discussing risk assessment in terms of -/+ facilitates HIV hysteria and FALLACY that a negative test is some type of protection. Gearing the discussion to comprehensive risk mitigation opens door to accurate information for sounder individual performer risk assessment at various comfort levels.

was same cesspool w/o added HIV drama….each production was really a production (big deal) with better enrichment for those who made it happen. Instead of Merchants, web hosting, agents, FSC, IRS and other standard hands looking for their piece of the pie today…back then on the East Coast location cost was a huge up-front cost…fond memory from 70’s in NJ/NYC metro = debates over whose pissed off wife could be better placated w/ decor remodel cash to determine location choice 😉

Hop, I find people forging VD tests in porn to be a possible big problem. If one gets away with it then others may think they can as well. One HIV positive person forging a negative test could cause multiple infections just like it did in 1997-1998 with the Marc Wallice VD test forgery incidents (four people that I know of got HIV from that creep). To me faking a negative VD test in porn is the fourth worst thing a person can do, just below murder, rape and a Whiteacre beatdown.

Its was a good business when the Mafia( Not Gay Mafia) the Italian guys ran it. The HOMOS fucked it all up with too many agents and too many under exposed talent that should have and should been performing.

By the way, when is the next HIV incident about to happen?
